MERCHANDISE: On sale at the event hotel and at the race on Saturday.
Race bibs will be distributed at dinner on Friday.
MEET LOCATION: Watts Course - Texas A&M University. Address: 3242 F and B Rd, College Station, TX 77845
FLIGHT: Coach Dave is flying PDX-DFW, Alaska Airlines, flight 286, departing Thursday, Dec 8 at 7am, arriving 12:40pm. Flying home on Sunday at 1pm.
LODGING: You are welcome to look around the Bryan/College Station area for hotel or AirBnb options, however, we do have rooms reserved at the Hyatt House in Bryan/College station for Dec 8-11. Click here for the reservation link. Once you click the link, you will be directed to the Hyatt House Bryan/College Station room reservation site. Click “BOOK NOW” and you’ll see the group code. Plug in the dates (anytime between Dec 8-11) within the contract (no other dates will work) and click “BOOK NOW” again. You will see the room type(s) that are contracted. Select the room type needed, and then follow the prompts payment information. Once a room type(s) is sold out, the link will not work. TEAM TENT: For the course preview and race days, we have a designated team tent. At this time, I do not know where the tent will be stationed, but there will be an 8’ Whisper flag outside of the tent, so keep an eye out for that, ask for directions from an official, and/or text/call me when you arrive.
COURSE PREVIEWS: We will meet on Friday, December 9, between 1-3pm for the course preview.
TEAM DINNER: We have reservations at Luigi’s Patio Restorante at 3975 Texas 6 Frontage Road #100 in College Station (click for Google map) at 5:15pm. The reservation is for 28 and parents are welcome to join if we have room, or dine at a table within the restaurant.

MEALS & HANG-OUTS:
Following dinner, kids can meet in a common area or room for some relaxing before the big day! It is wise to wind things down by 9pm for a good nights rest.
Saturday morning: aim to eat a breakfast consistent with what you typically have before an ordinary race. Day-of-race changes to ones diet are not advised. Be sure to have a nutritious breakfast and drink plenty of water. Trying new foods or energy substitutes should be done during general training periods, not before races (especially Nationals). Since Coach Dave will be at the race venue early in the morning, we will not meet as a team for breakfast.
Saturday evening: After your child’s race, you are free to remain at the event, or go tour the area. We will have a Sundae Bar around 8:00pm or 9:00pm, as well as the same space/room for the kids to hang out, play games, watch movies, etc.
