BRING A HEADLAMP!

Who: Registered runners preparing for the 2022 Track season.

What: Spring, middle-distance, distance, and hurdle training. Upon arrival, runners should sign-in on the clipboard beneath the canopy, place their belongings under or around the canopy, and begin lightly jogging around the track or on the turf around the soccer field (yellow line).

When: We will aim to start practice no later than 5:45pm and end by 7:00pm. We may train off-site at nearby facilities (Clark 1k loop, dirt track off Reserve & Mill Plain, Fort Vancouver Park, etc.), so please have your child bring a headlamp for safety. Reflective gear is optional.

Where: Hudson’s Bay High School Track, 1601 E McLoughlin Blvd, Vancouver, WA 98663.

What to Bring/Wear: Runners should attend dressed for the conditions wearing layers they can peal off as they get warm: shorts, sweat bottoms, shirt, long-sleeve shirt, windbreaker jacket, and possibly gloves and hat. They should also bring a water, and any medicines/pharmaceuticals they might need (inhaler, EpiPen, etc.).
