TRAVEL: This event is held at Chambers Creek Regional Park (Chambers Bay) in University Place (Tacoma).
LODGING UPDATE: Hampton Inn & Suites Tacoma is our team hotel, which is located at 8203 S. Hosmer Street in Tacoma, WA. Ph: 253-539-2288. We have 20 rooms with two queen beds in each, and the team rate is $115 (+taxes/fees) per room. Our group block is “Whisper Running” and our confirmation code is 91434570. Use this information when booking your room.
SATURDAY
COURSE PREVIEW: I will plan to be at Chambers Creek Regional Park (Chambers Bay) at 3pm on Saturday for a course preview. I do realize that this is a less than desirable time, given school and work schedules, along with drive time, but it will allow us time to check into our hotel(s) (see Lodging below) and make it to dinner (see Dinner below) on-time. Plan to depart Chambers Bay by 5:00-5:30pm (depending on weather and the timeliness of everyone showing up) so we can get to the hotel for check-in. The course preview should take 30-60 minutes. For those arriving later, try to arrive before 4:30pm for an abbreviated version of the course.
PARKING: Upon arrival, you will be instructed to park at the entrance to the park. Just follow the parking lot attendant instructions. The course is impossible to miss from the parking lot.

Dinner: Change of plans (for the better). We have the Cascade Room booked for 7pm at the team hotel (Hampton Inn) for a team dinner catered by Mama Stortini’s. We will be going with the Classic Italian option for dinner. The total with delivery and room reservation is $1,025.08, or $25/per person.
