Wednesday - Clark College OSC 204 (drop-off), WSSB Pool (pick-up)

WHO: Registered Whisper runners

WHAT: Video Analysis presentation by Kyle Leif from 9-10am, Sprint Training and Distance Training (all ages/levels) from 10-11am, then aqua-jogging 11-noon at the Washington State School for the Blind (pool).

  • Kyle Leif of Washougal Sport & Spine will be video recording runners on Monday and Tuesday for today’s Video Analysis presentation from 9-10am. Recordings will be conducted from multiple angles to capture as many details as possible, and recordings will be shown during Wednesday’s presentation.

WHAT TO BRING: Water bottle, light snack (banana, bagel, healthy energy bar), as well as supplies for swimming (towel, change of clothes).

WHERE: Drop-off in O’Connell Sports Center 204 at Clark College, located at 1933 Fort Vancouver Way. Heading north on Fort Vancouver Way, you’ll take the first entrance into Clark College and park in Red 1 or Red 2 (parking lot), which is located in front of OSC. When walking into OSC, take the first set of stairs to the second floor, and go right from the top of the stairs into 204. Upon arrival, your child will walk into the building and join the team in room 204, sign-in, and the practice overview will begin shortly after 9am. Training will take place at one or more of the following locations:

  • Fort Vancouver Regional Park

  • 1k loop on the NW corner of Fort Vancouver Way and E McLoughlin Blvd.

  • Hudson’s Bay HS Track

  • Memory/Mill Plain Park track on SW corner of Mill Plain Blvd and E Reserve St.

  • Leverich Park

Pick-up your child at the Washington State School for the Blind, located at 2214 E 13th St, Vancouver 98661.

TRAINING AGENDA: Sprint and distance conditioning, plus aqua-jogging.
