WHO: Open to all registered Whisper runners

WHAT: Clark County Distance Carnival

WHEN: The track events start at 9am with the Open/Community 5k, followed by the Elite 5k at 9:40am. The remaining events start at 10am and there will be a rolling schedule from there. Tte canopy set-up by 7:30am. Please have your child to the venue within 75-minutes of their first event so they have time to get their uniform, get their bib, relax, etc. Parents are welcome to come to the tent, but I prefer to place all race responsibilities onto the participants, regardless of age. From there, I will make sure everyone tending to their responsibilities (warm-ups, etc.) accordingly.

Only athletes, coaches, and officials are allowed on the infield.

TRACK EVENTS:

• Open/Community 5k, Elite 5k, 1500m, 400m, 200m, 800m, SMR 800m (100m, 100m, 200m, 400m), 3k, & 4x400m.

FIELD EVENTS:

• 10:00am Long Jump

Where: Hudson’s Bay High School Track, 1601 E McLoughlin Blvd, Vancouver, WA 98663.

REGISTRATION: Please email Coach Dave to let him know that you would like your child to race in this event, being sure to include the event(s) your child would like to participate in. Please do this by Wednesday, April 17. All runners competing for Whisper must be on the official USATF and athletic.net rosters. Please see the team page for more information.
